KleanTu® also offers an innovative system called the SanTOE® WWTS.
While SanTOE® WWTS produces a discharge low in suspended solids, organic compounds and ammonia comparable to that of an above-ground, tank-based wastewater treatment plant, it does not significantly reduce total nitrogen. Its application is in areas where nitrogen removal are not needed. Its advantage is its ability to be used in situations where municipal sewering and treatment is cost prohibitive or physically infeasible.

Once installed, KleanTu® WWTS use minimal resources, are adaptable to different flow rates (up to thousands of gallons per day) and discharge requirements. They reduce risk of system-wide failure since they are managed at the individual level and can be set up with remote sensing to monitor operation. They allow for incremental development and investment.
Additionally, KleanTu® uses a sustainable approach to wastewater treatment, by utilizing local contractors and recycled materials for construction, whenever possible, and increasing wastewater reuse opportunities.
